Celebrating the launch of a new caliber, the brand have taken the 9S66 movement with 35 jewels, 510 mainspring and 610 hairspring to make a new durable movement which offers 72 hours power reserve.  With exceptional accuracy the movement provides a daily variance of just plus 5 to minus 3 seconds per day, delivering the most precise performance found in Japanese watch making and Swiss chronometers alike. To provide high elasticity and vibration absorbance, the oscillating weight is made from titanium which also reduces impact on the bearings and distortion to the rotor. The Grand Seiko Mechanical GMT watch is set on a stunning deep admiral blue hue with a striking gold GMT hand and accompanying hour, minute and sweeping seconds hand which have been coated with the brands Lumi Bright patented treatment to provide self luminous features in low light conditions. A unidirectional bezel provides highly legible numbers with easy grip access, complimenting a set of 11 eye catching baton style hour markers to the inner bezel. A subtle date window is situated at the 3 o clock location embellished with a silver trim and pale gray background. The bevels to the dial face are razor sharp offering a deeply compelling finish. The 39.2mm case diameter graces the wrist on a stainless steel bracelet with three fold deployment clasp and push button release to complete a truly sophisticated look, bursting with beauty and simplistic grandeur.
